Leadership Workshop

Starting and growing a business basically forces us to develop skills in areas we may otherwise never have to learn. One of the most challenging for many is the aspect of leadership; which encompasses hiring, training and building a team; a team that will grow with you, support you and ideally will believe in and share your vision.

Leadership I’m afraid can be one of the most frustrating aspects of running your business but it honestly doesn’t have to be. I have been in business for twenty one years. For many of those years, my staff were part time, independent contractors AND seasonal, and the average length of time that an instructor would return year after year, was 5 years. I worked with many team members for up to ten years and a few even longer than that. My management and admin team have been with me for between four and seven years and we all remained intact through covid.

While it isn’t rocket science, there are key components of inspired leadership that can change your workplace from something enervating into something invigorating, inspiring and highly collaborative. Its a shift in thinking and some easy to implement tips and strategies that will bring conflict to a screeching halt and allow trust, respect and loyalty to flourish. Doesn’t that sound so much better? Now, Isn’t it time to get your leadershit together?
